EMITS - how to access and use ESA's official electronic tender system Every company within ESA's Member States and Canada is allowed access to ESA's official electronic tender system known as EMITS. In order to submit a proposal to ESA, you must first obtain an EMITS bidder code. To obtain this code you must register with EMITS. Application for a password: You will see that you are signed in as a guest. This allows you to access a questionnaire found under the button Entity Registration located at the top of your screen beside Industry Information. You must fill out the questionnaire and submit it to ESA for validation. As you are filling out the form, you will notice a series of "traffic lights". This ensures that you fill out the mandatory fields in your questionnaire. When all of the the traffic lights are yellow/green, a "submit for validation" button will appear on the main screen, and you will be able to submit your questionnaire. During the process you will be assigned a PIN security number. It is very important that you save this number for future access to your entity data. Once your questionnaire is validated, you will then receive user-ids and passwords from the ESA service desk in order to access the services offered by EMITS. We strongly suggest you read and/or print out the presentation EMITS: New registration procedures and use it while filling out your questionnaire in order to proceed efficiently with your registration.
Clicking on the related Item Number will provide additional information (programme reference, price range, participating countries, contact details, description of intended activity).
