ARTES success highlighted in new brochure

A new brochure showcasing the recent successes of elements 3, 4 and 5 of ESA’s ARTES telecommunications programme has been uploaded to telecom.esa.int.
Key examples of the technologies and products selected for this publication highlight the achievements of ESA activities that transform research and development into commercial products, systems or networks.
The introduction of new technologies, in particular through the ARTES 5 Technologies element, is illustrated. The continuous improvement of products and solutions, thanks to the ARTES 3–4 Products element, is depicted.
ARTES 3-4 and 5 are considered the workhorse of ESA’s telecommunications programme. More than 260 prime contracts involving 350 organisations have been awarded since 2009.
